If your greengage trees grow in the grass, clear the trunk of the tree from grass and feed your tree with rose fertiliser around the month of February.
You can get poor amount of fruits from your greengage trees, if they blossom early in the year. This means, if there are any frosts and freezing cold environment, all these blossomed leaf will froze and this will prevent your tree to grow more fruits.
If the greengage trees are full of fruits, this might cause a breakage on the branch. You need to cut 2 rings around bark of the tree, 8 inches from the bottom and around four inches above. This will help your greengage trees to produce good amount of fruit next season.
