Growing Apple Tree

Where To Grow Your Apple Trees?

Unfortunately, growing an apple tree is not a straightforward task as planting other types of plant. You need to consider the type of soil, where you will plant it, and then you need to prepare the soil prior to planting the tree. Also, another important thing to remember is where to plant your tree.

When you choose the location, you need to check couple of things. First, if the spot, which you intend to plant the apple tree, sees enough sun. Second, you need to make sure the soil has the right conditions and suitable for the purpose.

Although, apple trees love the sunny and hot conditions, they required a hibernation period, where the weather is cold. So, it is suitable for climates, where there are mild and warm summers and cold winter.

You need to make sure that your tree can receive full sun for at least 6 hours. Also, the base of the tree must not allow water-log as it will drown the root of your tree and it will die.

Apple trees can be able to grow in almost any type of soil. However, a month before planting, you need to treat the soil. This treatment will help your tree to grow healthily and also will allow it to produce juicy fruits. If the soil is high in alkaline, this treatment will also solve that problem.
